"Anal? Y, Sis?"
Would anyone be willing to help make a video series covering a full analysis of scientific studies on particular topics?
A no nonsense, no moralizing, ideology free, aganda free, and impartial coverage of the meta-analysis of the scientific data on various topics.
With the acknowledgment of the potential role of politics in the interference with scientific studies and investigations, and the scientific investigation and quantification of how influenced the research on a particular topic is by political forces. Putting that often unmentioned aspect of the science on any subject out into the open.
There is this YouTube channel, concordance, I'd like to do videos on topics in a scientific manner that are a hybrid of what he does, and what is done by alternative hypothesis.
In particular, I'd like to do videos that cover the same topics either of these two have, and be the fact-checkers of fact-checkers.
I'd also be interested in creating our own scientific community, performing various studies, trying to get at the truth concerning various topics of interest.
Like a community for scientists trying to do science without the interference of political forces, initially composed of amateur scientists, laymen who simply know how to employ the scientific method, performing research, and reading studies.
But later joined by refugees from the main body of the scientific community, who would lend their qualifications to further legitimize the community we had built. I'd like to put scientifically minded people from the far right and far left in rooms together and have them make bets on what the outcomes of various studies on subjects that interest them.
By having multiple political perspectives on different issues, and having them working together on a scientific investigation of a subject, we can counter the biases that exist in both parties, and have eyes to detect any fraud or other fuckery that comes from either side.
Basically, I don't care what the conclusions are, I just want to know what the facts are concerning any particularly controversial subject, to the best of our ability to know it. I want to counter far right biases just as much as any other ones that may exist, and bring people together in order to eliminate the interference of these biases in the studies being conducted.
Both for the videos and for an independent scientific community.
I'm confused, and want to have factual beleifs that correspond most accurately to what the actual body of evidence says on a given matter.
I also want to free the world of science from amy political forces that may exist, whose possible existence and influence reduces my ability to trust I'm anything that comes out of it, by setting my sights specifically on that corruption and exposing it using science.
What I want is a world where people can be more confident in what is true and what is not, I want to restore people's trust in science, regardless of where in the political spectrum they may come from.
I beleive that if everyone can agree on the same set of facts, than any debate on politics becomes far easier.
