No big surprise the FDA is worthless, or the AMA is complicit. The pharmaceutical industry (like the oil industry) has a legion of lobbyists to spread payola throughout the government.....been that way since at least the thalidimide era, and probably a lot longer. One good reason why I don't support the Libertarians.
