The results are consistent with those reported earlier this year by Rhodes’ research team.

Shocking. Whelp, looks like peer-reviewed data to me! I'll admit I am surprised the author didn't cut the sentence to "[t]he results are consistent with those reported earlier this year."

Also, stop using "Neurologist." Use "Fix Brainers" for more inclusivity.
