When you "trust the science" but can't cite the science you trust.

The science is settled, goy.

Back in like 2015 r/science mods declared that nothing disputing transgenderism would be allowed. The science was settled. It was no longer a mental illness as declared by the DSM.

All hail Science!

Did they bother you write the settled science down in a place where we can read it so that we can all know?

Why would you need to peer review or replicate it, you bigot.

IT IS SETTLED!

In theory, yes. It's just behind a massive paywall that the masses rarely know exists or, if they do, cannot afford to access.

That said, though, there have been a bunch of studies lately that indicate that an overwhelming number of papers in the last few decades are irreproducible. But that information is often itself also behind the paywalls: so who can say, really.

I trust the scientific method to produce valid results when it is followed properly. But that does not mean that the results of a valid study are set in stone. The map is not the territory, and science - as a whole - can only ever be a map.
