In theory, yes. It's just behind a massive paywall that the masses rarely know exists or, if they do, cannot afford to access. That said, though, there have been a bunch of studies lately that indicate that an overwhelming number of papers in the last few decades are irreproducible. But that information is often itself also behind the paywalls: so who can say, really. I trust the scientific *method* to produce valid results when it is followed *properly*. But that does not mean that the results of a valid study are set in stone. The map is not the territory, and science - as a whole - can only ever be a map.
