When you "trust the science" but can't cite the science you trust.

The Church of Science

[–] 3 pts

The science is settled, goy.

Back in like 2015 r/science mods declared that nothing disputing transgenderism would be allowed. The science was settled. It was no longer a mental illness as declared by the DSM.

All hail Science!

Did they bother you write the settled science down in a place where we can read it so that we can all know?

[–] 1 pt

Why would you need to peer review or replicate it, you bigot.

IT IS SETTLED!

In theory, yes. It's just behind a massive paywall that the masses rarely know exists or, if they do, cannot afford to access.

That said, though, there have been a bunch of studies lately that indicate that an overwhelming number of papers in the last few decades are irreproducible. But that information is often itself also behind the paywalls: so who can say, really.

I trust the scientific method to produce valid results when it is followed properly. But that does not mean that the results of a valid study are set in stone. The map is not the territory, and science - as a whole - can only ever be a map.

The laws against blasphemy never went away.

It is the religion that has changed.

Everything is inverted to a degree it is almost madness

  1. Fbi Cia say the number one threat is right wing domestic terrorism

Truth= 2 billion plus in damage and looting from the left wing groups antifa and blm

  1. White men are racist bigots and the most dangerous group in America

Truth= black men are obviously the most dangerous

How long could this list be? 50 things completely inverted? It's not the number the things being inverted are serious things this is not trivial this is civilization destroying type inversions

What do you expect from people who think there are more than two genders and that a “clump of cells” in a woman’s womb are meaningless? Hell, even if you’re pro-choice you still have to admit that’s a goddamn baby you’re killing. Just admit it.

No need for me to admit it I'm with you I'm pretty much against any abortion (rape is my it's ok moment... will explain below) I'm just not for giving our goverment powers to legislate morality...

So much black on white rape. So ya abort that if the woman wants. Also it just isn't going to work the mom can't love that baby the way she should and why should she if I was at war and the enemy took over my village raped my wife I'm not raising that kid I'm fucking killing it.

It has become their religious mantra. Their religious belief is whatever their high priests say is "Scientific. Their priests are called "Scientists."

The Science.

As if it is settled.

As if it could ever be settled.

Trust.

As if absolute Truth could ever be established.

"Trust the science" = "Believe what almighty god-box tells you to believe, and destroy the unbelieving infidels."

Add "settled science" to that. I had a what I thought was a knowledgeable source utter that phrase and I instantly lost respect.

I guess, but that’s a little bit pedantic, isn’t it? I think we understood what is meant by “trust the science“, the only problem is, the people pushing things like masks and quarantines aren’t trustworthy. I do trust science - in that I trust the process of determining what could be true or could be real about the world around us. I do trust that theories can be tested. I do trust that things can be proven true or proven false. I trust that.

When we start playing word games like they do, it misses the point. I have no problem with the phrase “trust the science” except that they’re fucking liars. That’s the point day: they lie. They are lying and they are evil. I’d rather hammer that point home.

Dear aspiring writers intending to persuade: The use of the word "spew" to describe someone else's speech is not as persuasive as you think that it is. In fact it is lazy and trite to do so.

"Trust the science"

"It's not systemic racism it's genetics"

"REEE BURN HIM AT THE STAKE!"
