I agree. We're still in the early days of high temperature superconductors and don't have enough knowledge to craft the right material yet. I think the high pressure research and testing will help unlock more understanding which will lead to better materials and techniques. We could see the next fifty years actually make room temperature superconductors possible. I hope to see this in my lifetime. It will open many doors for new advancements and technologies.
I think that's a pretty sound assessment. Hopefully the high pressure materials drum up more interest and bring in more funding. That would definitely help to bring them in your lifetime
