That was like the panic over nestle supposedly sucking springs dry in florida. After finding out the daily volume of the spring, it turns out nestles "millions of gallons" they were requesting? Yeah it amounted to only 2.5% of the spring output--when the spring is at 50% flow. They wanted a *tiny* fraction of the river output for bottling. But nestle *is* evil, just look at california. So why defend them? Same thing with J&J. Actually nestle is arguably worse, because they're pushing the privatization of public water, while goldman sachs pushes water exchanges/water markets, creating a market for commodity speculation on water--just what we need: more fucking crooks, messing with the price of one more thing in everyday life, at the expense of everyone else. They call it the "blue gold phenomenon". What a bunch of bullshit.
