"It was mainly meat-eaters who were overweight or obese who were running these risks, it emerged during the study. Most of the increased risks of disease identified were reduced once participants’ BMI was taken into account."

Its fatties. Fatties eating garbage meat and stuffing themselves with soda and cheetos all day between meals. But lets just pretend its the meat killing them. Okay.

"Higher intake of red meat and poultry is associated with significantly increased risk of developing diabetes, which is partially attributed to their higher content of heme iron in these meats"

When they say eating 30g of chicken meat was linked to disease and obesity they must be confounding butter golems eating fried chicken at KFC. I will never believe eating a plain ass baked chicken breast before hitting the rack contributes to any fucking disease.

Yep. Every time meat gains traction, they are right there front and center with their propaganda. They did this with eggs a week after a pubmed study gained traction that supported their consumption.
