I just use 2.54 cm per inch and it is easy. But, then again, I worked in a lab where all we used was metric units. So, I actually prefer it for everything but car mileage, even though I mock it online. Yeah. I'm a metric lover. Whatyagonnado?

No, it's complicated. You have to remember how to convert inches to miles and acres and gallons. In the metric system that's easy to remember.
