1) if the van allen belt is what you think it is, it prevents us NOT AT FUCKING ALL from leaving, radiation isn't a hard object moron, you can fly right through it with lead shielding LMFAO

Never said it was a hard barrier, but if you look at the craft that supposedly went through it, it was not nearly well shielded enough to pass through with living people on board. This is the main thing preventing us from returning to the moon today and why we only send unmanned craft there.
