And your statement makes no sense. I never said good equals evil. I said if Genesis 21:4 actually is gods words, then he is evil. He is not good.
Scripture is divine revelation (revealed to us through God). That doesn't mean every word in the Bible is His words. If you deny God and don't love Him, you will never know the difference between good and evil. Our hearts are exceeding wicked and can't know good without Him. If you want to read the Word and truly understand our loving Father, pray to Jesus Christ (in belief) and ask for understanding. I suggest starting with the gospel books. The book of John is great starter material.
So god didnt command moses to mutilate his children?
It's interesting how you use the word mutilate. Have you ever asked a surgeon if he is mutilating his patient during a surgical procedure? Yes, God told Moses to circumcise all males to set them apart from every other nation and tribe. I wouldn't consider circumcision mutilation by its defintion. If anything, I would question why God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son. But I won't get into that because you can only understand scripture from a worldly perspective ( an evil perspective). Know Jesus and you will know love, and love the Father and His word.
