My mom does have BPD with a bit of psychopathy in there for good measure. I got out fine because my dad knew the problem early and divorced her as he believed that she was an threat to me and everyone's mental health.
Our society is experiencing a mental health crisis. Hopefully this results in an increase in clinical psychology and therapies that treat the cause rather than the symptoms.

Don't get your hopes up too high. This would be opposite of our current approach. Unless a false/arbitrary cause can be attached to the illness, like white supremacy or patriarchy.
Even though it's a radical opinion. People with personality disorders are still people. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could cure personality disorders? It would help our entire society have stronger families, more productive workplaces, and less crazy people in politics.
It's not a mental health problem, it's a spiritual one. People have completely abandoned God and morality, so they take legal drugs to numb their vapid black empty souls.
