Does anyone have any idea where do get that epoxy? I'd like to try this.

It's just clear epoxy, a pack from the dollar store will do the job.

Get West Systems epoxy from a dealer is you want quality marine grade products.

Either west system epoxy- which is not completely clear and will yellow in us light over time , or more likely surfboard clear epoxy.

I will be experimenting for sure.

I'd like to know what type of wood they used, and if it matters.

I'd think knots woukd be a problem. Prolly want a hardwood so a thin piece would be strong, but maybe balsa IDK. Seems would need to be samded to be real smooth and maybe sanded after the epoxy.

Would probably have to be a hard wood like maple so the epoxy wouldn't be the only contributing factor to the strength of the material. You hear about cool technological breakthroughs like this all the time in different fields, and then the discovery is buried by the elites that would lose money by it's commercial implementation. I hope that doesn't happen in this case.

Seems like it could be DIY.

We already HAVE plenty of see through materials. HOW much does it COST to produce? and does it scare away niggers?

"plenty"???

Glass, plexiglass/polycarbonate, lexan

Very expensive: transparent aluminum

For tiny applications gems can be used.

Cost is a valid question. Also. structural properties are important.

PLUS will dogs pee on it (Think it's a tree).
