It's supposed to be how red/green colorblind people see it, but I have no way of verifying it's accurate. That's about 10 - 12% of white males. If it looks like there are basically only four colors, then it's working.
Oddly,, too. Colorblind people can spot this from across the room, but I guess it's difficult to see for people with "normal" color vision.
