I've been suspicious that these things can actually improve cognition. I wonder how much of it is placebo.
FWIW, racetams have helped me tremendously with regards to work & school. It has made me more sociable and has also increased my general motivation. Most of the evidence is anecdotal, however there have been various studies that have confirmed some benefits. Aniracetam particularly works well when consumed alongside a fatty meal that is also high in choline.

Well, I'm glad it worked for you. I might just bee too close minded on this; I don't trust drug or supplement claims.
I hear you. The reason why I use racetams is because they are generally well tolerated and have minimal side effects. Much safer than ADHD meds like Adderall or Ritalin.
