Around 3 or 4 years ago, my lifelong GP retired. A new doctor came in and took over her practice. Within a year, that doctor inexplicably left. A new doctor was brought in again, and again, within a year, they left. Then it happened again. Three doctors left the practice in three years. Then I received a letter in the mail informing me that I have been assigned a "nurse practitioner". So I no longer have an actual doctor at all.

How so? I'm aware of Trump's drug price reduction being rolled back, but I haven't heard of anything about doctors' fees being restricted. Got more info I can check out?
