we use IQ to achieve something and maybe they just didn't need it for the Irish way of life.

now intelegence and IQ are different:

intelligence is when you do something that is for your longlasting welfare. its descions made with consideration for which we dislike.

IQ is an abstract test to show how well a person is at high-level occupational skills that trickle down into mundane articles like fast talking a client or recognizing resources or whatnot.

im telling ya, i myself rather not turn into a feasting person because it would dement myself into losing a better calm, access to better happiness. the things the so called smart people seek and how misaligned they are with what is real is spectacular.

i gotta find what the buddha says about this: "What's skillful? What's unskillful? What, when I do it, will lead to my long-term welfare and happiness? What, when I do it, will lead to my long-term harm and suffering?" Why are these questions wise? Because they come from seeing that the issue of how to find a worthwhile happiness is something you really are responsible for. Happiness is preferable to suffering, it depends on your actions, and long-term happiness is better than short-term. This is what's meant by "skillful."

https://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/thanissaro/meditations5.html "wisdom for dummies" is where i ripped the exerpt. its from a cannon passage surely.

Dont the Irish have pretty women and kind living for the most part? not too bad off.
