Damnit. I was going to say piezo. It's everywhere. A very common thing that's uncommonly known. It's in your bathroom scale, knock sensor on cars, rocks, your bones.

I've never seen it shown visibly on this scale before though.

Where can I find out more about this? I'm thinking of the Giza pyramids and the way they were constructed. There could be a link.

Interestingly, the video actually tied the phenomenon to Giza. Of course, granite is made up of a lot of quartz. Earth quakes would most definitely cause enormous mechanical stress to the quartz, which in turn would cause electrical generation and then ionization.
