It's called "Artemis" for a reason, and the entire goal was a fundamentally-idiotic attempt to pander to an ivaginary audience; one that, in reality, doesn't actually give a single rat's pink-ass about science, exploration, human achievement, or space.

You just have to love the comparison of NASA to Spacex. They took 10 years and 2.3 billion dollars to fail this rocket test, while Spacex is sending up and reusing rockets several times. Classic government program. At least the contractors are happy with that big budget.
Surely they can figure out how to stop a China virus and keep us safe with a vaccine too. They just need more money for this one.
