The technology is such that a household can easily generate and bank enough power for their needs. A big box store cannot. To keep us supporting our corporate overlords, we are purposely assaulted with the most impractical, burdensome and invasive implementations of "renewable energy" to keep the public from permanently disconnecting from the grid.
