i believe that the climate is changing but i also believe the fear mongering behind global warming is a hoax.

does anyone have any facts to back this up? i do not trust the internet or even my own discernment, i am not a scientist. the internet and popular platforms are designed to prove skeptics wrong even if they're right.

yes, im ruining my social standing by not being on the bandwagon and i need help fast, but im not finding anything to help me. my bro thinks i live off gut feelings with no facts to stand on. im researching. reliable information that is back up by facts and educated scientists.

im suffocating a in a pool of my own idiocy and ignorance, send help

When I was a teenager in the late '90s, I learned something about pollution that has shielded me from environmental fear-mongering ever since. Bare in mind, I have no source(s) to cite. Long ago, 1,000 or 2,000 years ago (so, not pre-humanity), a volcano erupted. All of the ash, smoke, lava, sulfur, everything that results from volcanoes, was greater than the entirety of humanity's pollution. All of our oil spills, all of our fires, all of the aerosol, styrofoam, car exhaust, industrial exhaust, nuclear fallout; all of everything combined from humanity's existence was less than the results of ONE volcano (note: an extremely violent volcano.) I have been completely inoculated to all climate alarmism because of this scientific fact.

This was one volcano. Volcanoes erupt and spew 'pollutants' all the time. Are we responsible for that, or will we be made to prevent future eruptions?

Snake oil salesmen sold tonics guaranteed to make it rain when there was drought. Human sacrifice has been used to influence the weather. Rain dances. Prayers. Animal sacrifice. An uncountable number of rituals and beliefs have been based on controlling the weather for thousands of years.

Trying to understand the weather, certain star constellations at certain times of the year are blamed or revered. Phases of the moon, eclipses, animals born with two heads, twins, rabid or demented animals, animal die-offs; all used to explain weather. The goddamn weather men can't accurately predict a seven day forecast, and I'm supposed to believe they know what the world's temperature will be like in 10 years?

I knew all of these things before I began to research globalism and world-wide socialism. Environmental catastrophe is one of the ways the fabian society try to push socialism. That is the end goal of global warming/global cooling/climate change/el nino/ozone layer deterioration.

WE CANNOT CONTROL THE WEATHER. We never have and we never will. Can we pollute? Yes, and it isn't good. Does covering a bunch of land area with concrete affect rainfall patterns? Probably, but I would argue that it's impossible to prove. Mainly, because you can't record rainfall one year in one city, then go back in time and remove all the buildings and concrete and re-record the rainfall to see if it changed.

Weak-minded, weak-spirited people want something in which they can believe. And too many people are weak, and too lazy to think for themselves. They WANT to be told what to think and what to do. This weakness/laziness is what I think is the evil that is written about in religions and philosophies. This will never end. It will always be present in humanity.

I try not to argue with people about global warming, and I love to argue. Instead, I make snide remarks about global warming when it's cold. I love when people complain about the heat while they're standing inside an air-conditioned building.

Don't argue with your family. Go read. Start with The Creature From Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin. It is in one of the final chapters when he mentions environmental fear-mongering as a tool of socialism, but the book is about money, the federal reserve, and how both are used to control our government and population.

My best educated-guess about the changes in the weather, is our sun.

Clown world side note: people were convinced to buy electric vehicles to save the environment. To recharge the vehicles, from where does the electricity come? Burning more coal. lulz

this is very well put. i liked how you phrazed it. im resisting the urge to quote you in one long paragraph.
