Climate is always changing due to solar system influences. Global warming may or may not be occurring. In 1969 "climate scientists" predicted a new ice age. Now, warming is going to kill us all. They're all guessing. There's nothing to see here.
thats what im telling my brother. im telling him that i do believe that the climate is changing but theres nothing to do about it. that if we want a nice planet we have to take care of it. but otherwise anything to do with climate change is a money grab and that its a several billion dollar industry that are fear mongering through social media but not producing results.
he says that there are solutions. im asking, if there are solutions where are the results? i say believe nothing question everything, he asks me where i heard it, i actually am not sure. he calls me a liar. i post links, im speculating with him. he posts NASA and other articles. he says im out of my mind and the sources to my articles are baseless and topics opinionated.
if billionares are controlling social media and the internet, they would use their power to make me sound like a lunatic. he says im fear mongering and out of touch with reality. i dont know man, it kind of sounds like we're agreeing with each other. he says i have a defeatest mentality and "question everything and believe nothing" is a scapgoat and all im doing is fear mongering.
i dont know man. i want to be close with my bro, but hes kiked to hell and back like i used to be and my mom burnt him out as a kid and hes got little hope of being unkiked.
i cant back myself up or make myself sound smart enough to put up a good counter argument because he has ultimate faith in the government and he will not support any questioning of it unless i can source a good counter argument but all i got to work with is the enemies platform.

Don't fall for the "we have to save the world" lies. The elites that preach conservation are the most wasteful and polluting people alive. The planet will be here for several billion more years, with or without us.

i just wish there was an eloquent way to explain that so that people would understand that the global warming crisis is just a fear mongering money grab. my bro keeps linking NASA and how climate change works and how thousands of well educated scientists think we should throw money at the "problem". hes blaming us for global warming and following that toxic narrative. billions of invested dollars with nothing in return, pointing that out somehow makes me the bad guy
