A radio station owned by George Soros reported the live locations of undercover Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agents operating in San Jose, California, an area known for violent gang activity. The incident occurred on January 26 when KCBS 740 AM radio host Bret Burkhart described the unmarked vehicles being used by ICE and the exact locations where ICE agents had been operating, according to Newsbusters.
Burkhart was relaying information posted to social media by the Rapid Response Network, a leftist group that fights deportation initiatives. NewsNation confirmed on January 27 that ICE was conducting operations in the area at the time, meaning the host potentially blew the agents' cover and put them in danger.
"Here's what's happening," Burkhart said. "San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and head councilmember Peter Ortiz confirmed today that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are currently carrying out an operation on the east side of town. The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network, which is a community defense projecting system for immigrant communities against deportation threats, first reported the activity on its platforms."
"The county response network said agents in San Jose were in unmarked vehicles, including a black [omitted], a gray [omitted], and a white [omitted]. ICE agents were also reported outside a residence on South [omitted] roads, and officers were reportedly at the target on [omitted]," he continued. "Stay with KCBS, we will be tracking it for you."
This comes as federal authorities are currently carrying out mass deportation operations across the United States at the direction of President Trump, targeting violent illegal immigrants convicted and/or charged with serious crimes, including murder, child rape, and assault with deadly weapons.
In February 2024, George Soros purchased bankrupt Audacy, the second largest radio station in the United States, for $400 million. One of the stations that was involved in the agreement was KCBS 740, which operates in California's San Francisco Bay Area.
George Soros has a history of supporting illegal immigration, including former President Biden's open-border policies. Soros's Open Society Foundation boasts on its website that it supports "groups that work on a broad range of issues affecting the safety and well-being of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers."
