The premise was an OK popcorn drama: "A skeptical forensic psychologist (Herbers) allies with a Catholic seminarian (Colter) and a technology contractor (Mandvi) to investigate purported supernatural incidents."
The show was...not. Everything woke couldn't be criticized, ever.
The protagonist is a pseudo single-mom with four children that she consistently neglects and foists on grandma so she can pursue her career. This is never criticized.
Grandma is a strong powerful woman who don't need no husband, despite being a miserable alcoholic. This is never criticized.
The protagonist's husband is almost entirely absent dicking around climbing mountains and sending her a whopping $900 a month instead of getting a real job, supporting his family, and raising his children. This is never criticized because hippy mountain climbing > being a responsible father.
The protagonist spends the entire show mooning over a drug-addicted black seminarian with a violent criminal history. This is never criticized.
The tech guy sidekick is a Muslim who's working with the Catholic church to investigate alleged possessions, because muy diversities.
Every single white Christian male in the show is either a villain (serial killer, in league with Satan, lying for $$$), or bumbling and inept.
Drug abuse is normalized. There's an episode where "I went to a party and they spiked the sangria with psilocybin without telling me" is laughed off instead of THEY ROOFIED YOU CALL 911 RIGHT NOW.
It's impossible to have a SJW TV series that's actually enjoyable because nothing in the woke agenda can be criticized. Therefor no character can ever have meaningful moral faults, can never experience character growth, and all the villains have to be caricatures of whie men being evil for no reason. I think I'm going to turn the tv off and go read the Screwtape Letters. Leftists can't write a decent script if their life depended upon it.
