On another site (technically on two, as I've posted much of the story to the denizens of Total Fark), I have shared a story of my trip with a stolen pumpkin. I much prefer the terms "kidnapped" or "rescued" or "liberated." But, the truth is that I straight up stole the pumpkin.
It's a very, very long story - and I suppose I'll probably share it with the Poaler Bears. It doesn't get shared all at once. No, it's too long for that. The story is also mostly true - mostly. I have to skip some of the details, because nobody would believe them.
I'm not sure who is interested, but there are folks who find them enjoyable and I guess they'll make good, spontaneous and sporadic, content for poal.co.
You can read the first entry here:

When I add more to the story, I'll keep track of it by making a new entry into this sub. I will not post them on a regular schedule. I will not post them in any particular order. If you read the link, you'll have already seen both the beginning and the end.
This may give some of you incentive to read more comments - and to post more comments! Poal is still new, and can use all the folks commenting that it can get.
If someone wishes to proofread 'em and edit them for legibility, someday we might be able to make a PDF of them and let folks read them all at once - that'll save some time! I'm reasonably indifferent, so it may even be possible to do something like set the PDF up as a "pay what you want" and then all the proceeds can go towards maintaining Poal. I'm truly indifferent and one of the admins would have to do so - and they'd have my complete permission to do so.
Come to think of it, a book of collected stories from Poaler Bears might make a good way to raise funds to keep the site going. Maybe that's something the admins can discuss amongst themselves? I am not in need of finances, so everything I write is fair game for Poal to use as they wish. So, there's some food for thought - and I've seen some of the rest of you write some great stuff. There might be something there to look into.
