Don't download the app unless you know it's clean. Which I haven't done, but thinking about it now, I probably would advise against it without more detailed info.

at the very least, use a VM to access it and have it on it's own vlan so it can't connect to the rest of your network. This simple step isnt suepr secure, but the average person can pull it off and it's much better than what teh average person can do with the machien they actually use for things

Pretty much every TV show and movie is already available on free streaming sites. Not just stuff on Netflix or other streaming services. There are hundreds if not thousands of clones of the same type of site out there. Just make sure you have ublock.
Half of them are on Russian domains anyway. Pirates don't care, they go wherever they can. I guarantee Zetflix has nothing to do with the Russian government and only exists because of lax IP law enforcement.

Load the show onto your screen, and click the top right thingy. A drop-down menu offers various languages (usually). Also, closed-captioning.

You'll spend the next 10 minutes blocking spam site on your notifications, and if you click allow (to supposedly be able to watch a movie) you'll then have to go and block it via settings. Fck you , at least sticky a spam warning.
