I was in Vietnam a few years back and was sitting having a drink alone outdoors in Saigon. A Vietnamese girl joined me and started chatting me up. Friendly enough conversation for a few minutes and then she told me “you have vely tall nose, your nose vely big!” I was a bit taken aback obviously, and this must have shown on my face because she followed with “ no, it vely beautiful” and she then told me how she was planning to get surgery to make her nose bigger, presumably to look more European. Found the whole interaction fucked up, but found it funny that they would be getting nose jobs to increase the size of their noses.
