It’s probably a bit uncomfortable to use, so someone willing to pay a bit extra could prob install a sink nearby that empties out into the tank.

Why don’t they sell stuff like this as home improvement stores?

In most places, there is no need to "save water." Do people even understand what they are talking about when they say "save water?" Water falls from the sky as rain. It soaks into the ground or runs along its surface as streams and rivers, and eventually it makes its way to the sea, where it evaporates and forms clouds, which fall as rain on the land. It's a cycle.

If you've got a water supply that never runs out, which is true of a great portion of the Northern Hemisphere, you don't need to "save" water. It accomplishes nothing. If it's raining every week where you live, what good does "saving" water do? It does nothing at all, right? It's just a meaningless feel-good gesture for morons. If your city runs out in the summer, maybe you need a larger reservoir.

Water is everywhere. Most of the surface of the planet is covered in it two miles deep. The very air is thick with water vapor. We're not running out of water. And if you happen to live in a desert region, maybe you should think twice before installing a swimming pool and a lawn. Maybe you should realize that large populations of human beings were never meant to live in the middle of the desert, and get the fuck out of there.

you don't need to "save" water

yes you do, you need to reduce the amount of water that gets dumped into the sewage system, because all that has to be treated before it's released into the sea/river.

Likewise all the fresh water has to be treated and pumped to your house

None of this is free, so the more you waste, the higher everyone's bills would be. This is the same Leftist thinking in respect to niggers robbing stores, "it's OK because they are insured"

We're not running out of water.
