Could be. I’ve seen mixed people labeled as only one ethnicity before. If you check this sub, you’ll find a post of a French/Chinese actress who is strictly called French by Wikipedia and IMBD.

This woman is Dilraba Dilmurat, and I believe she might have some arab blood in her, but can’t be 100% certain. Definitely doesn’t look pure Chinese. (pic8.co)
