Speaking of Daggerfall, I think anyone who hasn't played it yet should go try it with the modern unity port called DFU. It's like a time capsule, a classic fantasy RPG, reminds me a lot of Wizardry games, particularly for its brutal difficulty and dungeon crawling. The final cover art looks cool and fine, but it depicts the Underking - a purposefully obscure literal who, who only becomes relevant by the end of the game, although he's been pulling strings behind the scenes all along.
