Speaking of Daggerfall, I think anyone who hasn't played it yet should go try it with the modern unity port called DFU. It's like a time capsule, a classic fantasy RPG, reminds me a lot of Wizardry games, particularly for its brutal difficulty and dungeon crawling. The final cover art looks cool and fine, but it depicts the Underking - a purposefully obscure literal who, who only becomes relevant by the end of the game, although he's been pulling strings behind the scenes all along.

My Dad had an original version on CD I found. He was playing it when I was a little kid I assume. He would have enjoyed in his late 20s.
