Truly.

Truly.

Nothing would grow there for years. Maybe never, depending on how much saltwater they put down. I'm so sick of the "Look at all that water!!! It's an Ocean!!!!" argument. Yes, if they were smart enough to build desalination plants that would be great. But they gotta pay for illegal immigrants and homeless people, that's the priority.

Almost all of the water used by Israel is from desalination plants. I am willing to bet that most of them have been paid for by American tax dollars too.

But yes, you are right. Using sea-water on areas like that would probably be catastrophic for future fertility in the ground and rebuilding.

But they didn't even need that. They just needed to stop flushing fresh water out to the ocean and try to do some actual mitigation of the brush.

Bro you have no fucking idea how much water they have access to that they shit out. If you have time, hop on google maps. At the spot where the 210 and 605 freeway meets, look a little bit south. There are 3 huge gravel pits that have been in operation for over 100 years. Each of those pits is fill with water that is deep. Like major deep. From what I heard from old timers who snuck in, they also have bass in them that could break the world record. And that's just one example. It's like they WANT a drought

Clearly they do want it. Though, old mining pits usually have heavy metal contamination too. Not always but often.

Then again... allow the whole fucker to burn down or use some water that you might need to mitigate some shit from that is not going to salt the earth? All of that burning shit is going to add more pollution into the environment than dropping some gravel pit water on it.

They want this. You can not hate them enough.

Thats what I thought. Whatever, it's CA, they're not logical.
