Oh wow. Did not know that. I will check tomorrow or Friday if they can do that for me. I know the lady that runs the shelter is gone on road trips to Oklahoma a lot to drop off dogs so Mo is just a short drive from her current place where she goes.
I used to assist with dog transports from shelters up and down the coast, and with shelters in TN, KY, and OH. Volunteers would take sections of the ride with a dog or two and hand them off to the next link in the chain. Some shelters charge adopters a fee for driving a dog to help recoup some of the cost. It's definitely worth asking about it.
Very cool. I'm retired, but would do that job for free if gas were to be covered. I will definitely ask the shelter going to today or tomorrow. Thank you for that info sir =)
