Thank you, I think. Though, isn't that what this /s/Reportspammers sub is for and what my post here already did? Is there an entirely different way to report spammers than to post reporting them in the Report Spammers sub that should be used instead of the ReportSpammers sub?
It is, but when you get to a high enough level you can report posts as spam as well. That double-punch just makes sure it gets removed before the spammer gets ideas and tries to shit the place up.
Oh! That's great to hear. Thank you most definitely then. I was unaware of that ability as being able to be earned at higher levels. I believed the removing spammers was entirely down to AOU seeing a report in this sub and then removing the spammer. I'm glad the system is more robust than that with the task of keeping them from being able to spam able to be handled by others until AOU can remove them completely.
