Isn't there something on this site in place to keep users from doing this? An algorithm that would slow them down? I know when I'm on and I'm just messing around I can post replies pretty quickly. Voat, 4chan, etc. Would limit me if I was participated in multiple threads.

But the insane rate of spamming is questionable at best.

Insane rate, yes- I'm referring to messages I would get from posting replies to quickly. The messages would say something along the lines of : You're doing that too fast. Please wait x amount of time and try again. Do you know if this site has something similar? If not, run it up the coc and see if it's possible? Idk

It does but it's like 15 seconds. It's nothing meaningful. I've never hit it on submissions, just comments and only when I open replies in new tabs and try to reply to them all in a row.
