I'm still new here so I don't fully get all the ins and outs and ups and downs and bits and bobs. I just figured if a user was free to post, then posting a bunch of stuff is exercising freedom. How many posts per 38 mins is the threshold for spam vs post freedom?

Dude all I'm trying to get across is that all these very noble standards have little place in a small community.

For example if the admins one day decided that all users with the letter 'a' in their name had to pay $.10 per post, they'd be well within their legal rights to do so. It would be annoying. I would dislike it. But I wouldn't bitch about "muh freedoms" this is a small, private website that requires a login.

Facebook and other GIGANTIC websites fall under;

Marsh v. Alabama - free speech public domain private property (archive.md)

So any time anyone compares the two situations it's a false comparison.

The admins have no moral obligation, no legal obligation, and no contractual obligation to protect your or anyone's free speech through lack of censorship. The only obligations they have are to their hosting provider and to the state their servers are located in.
