Turns out there's a problem with the free Stanley CH5 wood chipper I picked up the other weekend beyond flat tires. Started using it for about 5 minutes, strong odor of gas. Just pissing out the bottom of the tank. Jerry rig fuel collection device while I grab some sockets and wrenches. 13 and 10mm do the trick. Pull it off and the hose to the carb is jelly. Drain, assess, realize it's Sunday afternoon anyway. Hopefully a local small engine place has something similar I can attach, else I'm gonna have to do some redneck engineering.

Apparently jb weld steelstik is made for such things. There's another version called tankweld, which is more specific to tanks, but from what I understand the main difference is the inclusion of fiber mesh.
