In a sense, yes.

I go to flea markets and other similar shows here. It's not unusual to see down's syndrome amish, or groups of dwarves.

A family member in West-North PA used to be a yoder toter. He tells stories of entire familes packing up their things and trading places with a family in Indiana or Ohio in an effort to bring new blood into the community, stories of having to haul a family and their badly genetically damaged kid to a hospital in Pittsburgh for some strange treatment because the kid's DNA was so corrupted.

I'll give them credit where credit is due - this problem is of their own making, but they take care of their own.
