There was a paper that came out in 2018, showing a population from 3000- 6500 years ago in israel, of people with blue/light eyes and fair skin. The Principle Component Analysis shows they are close to two other levant specimens from the period, but also to other ancient Europeans, and Anatolian Western Turkish people of the time that also had blue eyes, fair skin and light hair at the time. So they state genetic components were from levant, iran and later levant. : “could source ~57% of its ancestry from groups related to those of the local Levant Neolithic, ~26% from groups related to those of the Anatolian Neolithic, and ~17% from groups related to those of Iran Chalcolithic.

But the samples were much closer to European contemporaries than the Iranian samples. But why let facts ruin the narrative eh.

Iran means land of Ayran. Our genetics are there because today's Iranians are the genetic hybrids (Arabs) of our line and others.

All blue eyed people have a single common ancestor.

As far as I’m aware, the earliest example of Blue eyes was in Spain from 7000 years ago, but could also have been inherited from neanderthals because we got some of our fair skin and blonde/red hair from them.

Very unlikely is from Neanderthals.
