God gave us the rules to live by, we have free will to live by those rules or not. Like your dad says dont drive the car too fast at night, then you decide to anyway, then blow a curve and wreck. Is that your dads fault?
What a silly ass response. Always with the free will nonsense. If there were a "caring and loving" god that would "never" desert you then he could have easily intervened. You think that would interfere with the poor kids free will? Garbage. Maybe just nudge a family member to go over for coffee, whatever, anything, something. It is proof that god does not exist.
And since you asked about my kids, I'll give you a good answer. I have told them (grand kids now) not to touch the wood stove many times. If one gets too close to it I tell them again. If one happens to touch it and get burned I don't just stand by and watch, I don't let them suffer. Because I am a good father (grand father now) and that is what GOOD FATHERS do.

lol, no, I don't expect nor do I try to talk people out of their religious beliefs. There are over 200 "gods" worshiped all around the world, I only believe in one less than you do. No, I do not believe in satan, before you say it I already know, the devils greatest trick. More nonsense.
I don't try to talk people out of religion because I am a firm believer that humanity needs religion. There are too many people out there with no moral compass who are incapable of living a good honest life without the fear of reprisal from their god. I don't have that faith so I go out of my way to do good, to be honest, to help others when they need help. I don't steal or cheat or lie.
