I was looking into revelation, stuffs about the "great harlot", often interpreted in christian eschatology as a prediction of a one world religion/church to come

And I noticed something that retained my attention

https://biblehub.com/bsb/revelation/17.htm

>8The beast that you saw—it was, and now is no more, but is about to come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.

"that was, and is not, and yet will be"

It sounds like a spoiler, like somebody telling you what you're going to see in a movie he has already seen and that you are about to see

Like there's a delay between the moment things happen and the moment we get to perceive them/go through them, pretty much like when we get to see an hypothetical star explode; at the moment we see it explode, that star has in fact already exploded a long time a go

Of course all this has little to do with the prnewswire.com article, it's just an observation on my part

I learnt the 'great harlot' was the worlds religions/governments riding on the back of a demon dragon...

Correct me if I'm wrong but "beast" is codeword for a nation/country state/gov in the bible, right?

I have not read the bible for years. I suppose being raped by a priest at the age of 14 turned me away.

"Climate change" is a meaningless term. What they are really talking about is man-made global warming, and it does not exist. Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, not a dangerous gas, not a gas that will cause a runaway greenhouse effect. In fact, we need more of it. Everything you have been told about "climate change" is a lie. Everything.

CO2 enrichment in greenhouses allows crops to meet there photosynthesis potential. Enriching the air with CO2 can be done by means of the combustion of natural gas or with liquid CO2.
