29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Yep, the news can be addicting at times. Today was the first day I perused the news after my sebatical. I don't like feeling angry. If I start feeling that way again, I'll take another time out. I have to constantly remind myself that there is no fear in love. Love being the essence of God.

That's the Holy Spirit talking to you imo. God is love. Everything else comes from the evil one.

I have to constantly remind myself that there is no fear in love.

I have been reminding myself of this very verse lately.

1 John 4 vs 18

"There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love ..."

My favorite passage is Luke 4 vs 18

" The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised ..."

It reads like a self fulfilling prophecy. In one New testament version it ends with "This scripture came true in your hearing."

Reminds me of "those with ears to hear and eyes to see." Not everyone has it.
