Shabbat is my blessing. Friday before sundown my aim is to have my clothes washed, get menial tasks done then let go of cares and frustrations. One day to reflect on what was done or left undone, good or bad but it's over. Time for reset. Reflection and rest from the worldly cares. By next sunset I am ready to reengage. For that period of 24 hours I am absolutely free.

I couldn't have said it better. Enjoy.

That is the blessing. Let go of this world for 24 hours and fill it with rest and God's Word. Nothing but good stuff. The world wants you to remain on that hamster wheel spinning away your life.
