Correct. You don’t need a building to certify that it’s a church. I went to Lutheran school for 7 years. Read the Bible cover to cover at least several times in that school. Had a few debates with my teachers and our pastor about some of the inconsistencies between the Bible and the Lutheran Dogma. Almost got kicked out for that in 8th grade. Didn’t care but I did graduate. Probably mad I pointed these out in front of the whole class. One thing I learned is you can’t trust the church. Regardless of what they say it’s still a “business”. And God forbid you point out hypocrisy and contradictions. Glad I left that place over 30 years ago
