That's a very poor definition of religion. A religion is a social phenomenon. It's characterized by the collective acknowledgement of a spiritual component in life. One person believing in a divine power is not a religion. That's a spiritual belief. When people gather together with the same general views about spirituality, and express their beliefs by communing collectively with a higher spiritual being, that's religion.
