Religion isn't just something a society can take or leave. It is absolutely necessary for the healthy well-being of a society and its culture. Once you throw away religion, you fall into an abyss of moral chaos from which you may never be able to climb out. You can like religion ... you can hate religion ... in a practical sense it doesn't matter, because society REQUIRES religion, and its framework of moral laws from God, to prosper and grow.

If you don't understand this, and think our society can take or leave religion as it pleases, you know nothing at all about the matter. Our present troubles are a direct result of our rejection of the Christian moral code and the belief in God. The moral code of a people MUST come from God, or it has no solid foundation. It changes at a whim and is never the same. It gives no support, no structure, no defense against excess and criminality.

That's where we are today. If we don't get our religion back, Western civilization is doomed. It will be taken over by Islam (because, as I told you, society REQUIRES religion -- it isn't an option). And under Islam it will swiftly decline into a Dark Age of ignorance.
