There are college courses that trace back and disassemble the bible as a work of literature. It’s interesting and eye opening when you start learning how it all changed over the years. There is no real beginning to the story, just bits that trace back further and further into history to times forgotten or totally lost. The parts that are pulled from or shared with other cultures and religions from BCE are interesting as well. All religions of the world have some shared stories that have played an epic game of telephone over the ages, some trace back many many thousands of years, and possibly were versions of even older stories. The earth is much older than we are, civilization existed before we have accurate history or knowledge of it and some trace back to those times. I can’t get into specifics, it’s been too long since I studied it to be of any real use, but if you want to start digging it is an interesting rabbit hole if you have an open mind.
