they forced Christianity aka the Hebrew religion onto populations world wide that were quite happy with what they had, as part of their constant war on non Jewish culture.
Lmao they didn't force anything. The Christians didn't exactly go around threatening to cut off the heads of those who didn't convert; that is the way of the heretic Muslims. No, instead the Christians bore witness to their faith, often in the ultimate way, by sacrificing their lives, and those "contented pagans" were so impressed that they happily and freely discarded their inferior models of ultimate reality for the most perfect model that exists - authentic Christianity.
In attrition against the Roman Pantheon they similarly foisted their claim to be "God's Chosen Ppl" - a concept I reject in its entirety - onto an unwilling populace, which brought with it "Scribes & Pharisees" who morphed into Popes, Bishops and Priests.
St. Paul used the Pantheon (Acts 17:23-31 (biblegateway.com)) to convert some of those of Athens - again, freely (Acts 17:33 (biblegateway.com)), including the Areopagite.
forced conversions to Christianity aka the Hebrew religion were ongoing for hundreds of yrs, culminating in the Inquisition where the Inquisitors a la Torquemada were themselves Jews, despite the Jews are attempting to turn it all around and claim they were the victims.
Now your ignorance is manifest. The Inquisition was only concerned with those who claimed to be Christians, but lied, much like those Christ referenced who "claimed to be Jews (in a non-derogatory sense), but do lie" (Rev 3:9 (biblegateway.com)). Most of these "conversos" were lying Jews. This was the Church dealing with a problem almost of her own creation - so effective at conversions had she been, that many were insincere, and were using their fake acceptance of Christianity to disguise their continued subversive behavior. These had to be rooted out. This was not a matter of forced conversions, nor did this take place to any significant degree earlier in history, and the Church has always condemned such a method.
