I definitely believe that the teachings and example of Jesus replaced the Jewish laws and Jewish god of the Old Testament. That god was not a nice person. He was petty, spiteful and jealous. He says himself, "My name is Jealous, for I am a jealous god." Fine, Jealous, you keep making storms on your little mountain top, but no way I'm ever going to worship you. My God isn't jealous of anything.
